A Little About Me

Outside of clinic, life is very much about family, nature and slowing down after years of being in high-drive mode.

I’m a mum to two grown-up daughters and share life with my very patient partner Rob, an old dog and cat, which keeps me grounded in the realities of family, responsibility, changing seasons of life, and the importance of slowing down and looking after your nervous system. After years of running at a fast pace, I now deeply value simple, restorative things – time in nature, walking, being near the ocean, good food, connection, and creating space to breathe and reset.

Health has to fit into real life, not a perfect one. I’m passionate about helping people feel well, steady and balanced again, and about making health information clear and manageable rather than overwhelming.

I love seeing people finally get relief from long-standing symptoms and start to feel like themselves again, and I enjoy sharing knowledge in a way that feels practical, reassuring and supportive.

Professional Background

Before stepping into natural health, I spent many years owning and managing a chain of retail stores. It was a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment, and like many women, I carried a heavy mental and emotional load and pushed through on adrenaline.

As I entered perimenopause, that long period of stress caught up with me. I experienced significant burnout – poor sleep, nervous system overload, hormonal shifts and deep fatigue – and realised that willpower alone wasn’t enough. True recovery came from understanding how the nervous system, hormones, gut, blood sugar and immune system interact under long-term stress. That experience didn’t just lead me into natural health – it shaped the way I practise.

I retrained as a naturopath and clinical nutritionist, drawn to functional and integrative medicine for its focus on understanding why the body becomes dysregulated, not just suppressing symptoms. I also spent seven years working in the natural health section of a pharmacy, supporting people navigating both prescription and natural approaches, which gave me a strong respect for the medical model and how the two can work together.

Today, my work is grounded in both clinical training and lived experience. Having rebuilt my own health, I bring clarity, compassion and realism to helping others move out of survival mode and back toward balance, energy and resilience.

Most of all I just want clients to feel heard and supported.
